Arrival - Departure
We’ll meet you the morning of Sunday June 15 in AVIGNON. (Getting there is your responsibility.)
A beautiful medieval city in the South of France, Avignon is just over 3 hours from Paris by train (by TGV, the high-speed train), or less than an hour from Marseilles by train. You’ll be taken by bus to La Roque Alric, 45 kilometers north of Avignon, to a 300-year-old village within sight of the Mont Ventoux and les Dentelles de Montmirail. If possible, we recommend you arrive in Europe a day or two early to get over jetlag. Avignon is well worth a visit.
The final workshop dinner is Friday evening. Departure from La Roque Alric is Saturday morning, June 21. For those wishing to stay on in Avignon for the weekend, a list of hotels and private homes will be provided.
It is essential to let us know of your precise travel plans before your arrival, so that we can organize your transportation to La Roque Arlic and back to Avignon.
